THE AGM AND MEMBERS SUPERMATCH

On Sunday 29th april the Society held its Annual General meeting but this time it had a little difference, because this year after the meeting was ended, we all sat down to a lovely Sunday roast dinner which was delicious. Then, in the afternoon, we held the very first members Supermatch. This was held under KC Rules, but was by invitation only and all those whose dog had been pace 1st, 2nd or 3rd at either the Open or Limit Show in 2006 were eligible to compete. It was held as a match where two or three dogs competed against each other and the winners went through to the next round.
The judge was a mystery judge, known only to the Chairman Mr Terry until the day. In actual fact the choice was very fitting and the Committee was very happy to see the mystery solved. It was Mr Brian Townsend who kindly returned to the Society for the day to judge this the first NCKCSS Supermatch. There were 34 dogs in total awaiting him on the day and the eventual winner was Ellisiana Crusader for Ricksbury.
