JUDGES CRITIQUE

I would like to thank the officers and committee for inviting me to judge and making me feel welcome on my first time awarding CC’s. I would also like to thank my two capable stewards Alison Walker and John Tranter for the smooth running of the ring. A very big thank you to all the exhibitors for the fabulous entry and the privilege of allowing me to go over their dogs. There were some lovely bitches today and just not enough cards .I was very pleased with my Best Bitch line up.

Veteran Class (12 entries 2 absent)

1st: Scott’s Toscam Monte Lucia
Lovely quality well marked feminine Blenheim bitch almost 9 years old Super size and shape a real toy spaniel ,very long ear feathering framing a lovely head with large dark eyes and a soft gentle expression moving well with plenty of drive.
2nd: Calydon’s CH Brymarden Moon River
Another nice bitch richly marked Blenheim with a good head, dark eyes giving a pleasing expression very sound on the move keeping her topline in good condition
3rd: Moulden’s Forever Romance of Whiecroft

Vintage Class (4 entries 2 absent)
1st: Lunt’s Oaktree Welsh Pride
Black and Tan bitch 12 years old nice type, good size lovely to see her moving so well and happily around the ring certainly enjoying her day.
2nd: Hurst &Wake’s Llustant Paper Rose
Well marked Blenheim bitch almost 11 years old another lovely type, and good size, enjoying her day out and moving soundly.

Minor Puppy (20 entries 4absent)
1st: Cunningham’s Verheyen Angelina
I just loved this puppy as soon as I saw her and she did not disappoint on the table. 6 months old on the day and what a delightful baby she is with gay, friendly, temperament. Lovely size, good rich colour, compact body, nice spring of rib, good turn of stifle and well balanced. Beautiful head so pretty with large round dark eyes, high set ears, perfect bite, black nose pigment and gentle expression. Good moderate bone and she went around the ring like she had been here before what attitude she has, head held high, so elegant in movement holding her topline well. One I would love to own hopefully she will have a bright future.
2nd: Ackroyd-Gibson’s Toraylac Femme Fatale
Another quality puppy, good rich colour as well, unlucky to meet one today. Excellent type made well with lovely head, large dark eyes, good black pigment, and soft sweet expression. Super movement another full of confidence should also have a bright future.
3rd: Darley’s Shelpet Savannah

Black and Tan girl almost 10 months old lovely quality puppy with good rich tan. Attractive head with dark eyes and sweet expression .Good neck and shoulders compact body, nice size and good angulation. Moved well holding her topline.
2nd Waters: Kinvaar Make a Wish at Maibee
Well marked Blenheim girl with appealing head and soft expression. Lovely size, nice shape and balance and correct tail set. Moved soundly.
3rd Hughes Loranka’s Cherubim

1st: Hughes Loranka’s Upsy Daisy
Blenheim girl nicely marked with rich chestnut markings, large dark eyes, black nose pigment and gentle expression. Compact body with good turn of stifle when she settled and stood four square, moved well.
2nd: Ackroyd-Gibson’S Toraylac Perfect Passion
Another nice puppy who was well marked ,nice ear set ,large eyes giving a soft expression, good spring of rib and a sound mover.
3rd: Owen’s Narayden Magic Charm

1st: Levy/Sedgwick & Cline’s Pascavale Alexus
Lovely Blenheim bitch with richly marked coat, nice size and shape, pretty feminine head with large round dark eyes, well cushioned foreface giving a lovely soft gentle expression, nice outline , well balanced ,good bone, excellent turn of stifle .Very appealing little girl who moved steadily keeping a level topline and a good tail carriage. Delighted to award her the RCC.
2nd: Tabard‘s Khatibi Lemon Ada
Nicely marked Tri colour bitch with rich tan in the correct places. Lovely size, pretty head with dark eye and sweet expression .Good reach of neck, compact body with good bone, just right for her size. Well turned stifle, moved soundly around the ring.
3rd: Waddington’s Spindlepoint Joy

Pretty Blenheim very nice type ,good size, lovely condition, large dark eyes, well set ears, good nose pigment, correct bite ,soft gentle expression ,nice neck , bone and turn of stifle moved soundly
2nd: Rayner’s Trirayne Oloroso
Well marked Blenheim of correct size .Pleasing head, eye and dark nose pigment giving soft expression, unlucky to meet one today .Moving well both ways.
3rd: Johnston’s Brigodee Burning Bright

Lovely Blenheim, super size ,nice rich chestnut colour , cobby body ,very pretty with round dark eyes , black nose pigment .Good spring of rib and nice angulations which gave her positive driving action around the ring.
2nd: Knight’s Carolus Moll Budge
Blenheim bitch in good coat .Attractive head with dark eyes, good nose pigment giving soft expression, nice size, showed well and steady movement.
3rd: Gow’s Lochbuie Teazle at Lyncraeg

1st : Tabard’s Kaidee Kiss Me Kate Khatibi
Well marked Blenheim with long straight silky coat and good rich chestnut markings. Very feminine bitch with dark eyes, good nose pigment, and sweet expression ideal size and shape with nice moderate bone for her size. She is so well made, stood foursquare all the time and a sound mover, moving elegantly around the ring holding her topline.
2nd: Gray’s Spindlepoint Sophia Loren for Evarclasi
Another nice Blenheim bitch, of good size, heavier marked than one but rich chestnut colour. Pretty head with dark eyes, gentle expression and black nose pigment. Good neck and spring of rib happy girl moving soundly.
3rd: McMurray’s Cinderlace Primrose at Merrymoth

Limit Class (14 entries 3 absent)
1st : Darley’s Kaidee Krista
Blenheim of nice size, well broken up with rich chestnut markings. Appealing head with large dark round eyes well filled muzzle good ear set, soft melting expression .Good neck and shoulder placement, straight front, nice outline. She has a good turn of stifle and kept a level topline while moving with drive.
2nd: Cunningham’s Verheyen Laura
Attractive Blenheim well marked coat, lovely type, and sweet feminine head with large dark eyes and black nose pigment giving a gentle expression .Good make and shape excellent neck and shoulders. Moved well coming and going on well let down hocks.
3rd: Hughes Loranka’s Touching Heaven

Black and Tan bitch of nice size, in good coat, rich tan markings, dark round eyes, soft expression good shape, correct tail carriage .Nice front and good turn of stifle, moved well out and back.
2nd: Gamble’s Loranka’s Back to Black for Lisgarth
Black and Tan bitch with an attractive head with lovely dark eyes giving a good expression. Compact body, good ribcage, nice tail carriage, moved soundly.
3rd: Lonyd’s Crimbledale Witchcraft

Ruby with a gleaming soft and silky coat of good rich colour .Very pretty head with large dark eyes, lovely full ears leading to a melting gentle expression. Well balanced, excellent tail carriage and nice outline. Moved with drive holding her topline.
2nd: Johnston’s Brigodee Burning Bright
Ruby with pretty head and feminine expression, rich chestnut colour, good topline, nice tail carriage, moved well.
3rd: Godwin’s Sorata Rosemary

1st: Baillie’s Fyrnrose Mrs Twiggy Winkle
Blenheim with good coat of nice texture and deep rich chestnut colour. Ideal size, large dark eyes, good nose pigment and pleasing gentle expression. Nice shape and good spring of rib well constructed .Shown in good condition, moved soundly.
2nd: Owen’s Estrid Rosanna
A nicely marked Blenheim larger in size than first but she had a nice head with dark eyes and a soft expression .Good movement keeping her top line .She was a bit excited getting her prize card not making it easy for her handler.
3rd: Hughes Jordanic Italia Evydal

Special Open Tri-Colour Bitch (5 entries 1 absent)
1st CH Pamenda Touch of Fan Tc
Lovely well marked Tri colour with long silky coat and rich tan markings. Attractive head with large round dark eyes, soft gentle expression .Good neck, lay of shoulder, ribcage and correct tail set. Moved soundly both ways.
2nd Walton’s Belstonbell Water Lily with Underknoll
Another well marked Tri Colour with bright tan in correct places pleasing head with large dark round eyes good top line and correct angulations moved okay

Well marked Blenheim dripping in coat of smooth silky texture. Lovely size, correct reach of neck, good shoulders, nice make and shape. Attractive head, large dark round eyes, black nose pigment, long ears and a soft expression. Well made moved elegantly around the ring.
2nd: Coole’s Jolainey Sugar Babe
Another lovely Blenheim. Unlucky to meet one today she is a lovely bitch with a pretty head with dark round eyes and black nose pigment giving a soft expression, nice size, good outline and balance moved well around the ring.
3rd: Willey/Siddle’s Penemma Pash

1st Hughes CH Loranka’s Sherrie Baby
Beautiful Tri colour I don’t think there is anything left that has not been said already about this lovely bitch. She has good rich tan in all the correct places lovely long soft and silky coat in excellent condition. Sweet face very pretty with round dark eyes, good earset and long ears giving a soft expression. Nice neck and shoulders, compact body with good spring of rib, level top line and well balanced. Ideal size, a real toy spaniel to be proud of so well made with elegant movement with plenty of drive. CC & BOS
2nd CH Ellemich Aurora
Attractive feminine Blenheim, richly marked, in good coat of silky texture. Lovely head with large dark eyes and nice melting expression. Another bitch from the top drawer and a worthy Champion .She has good angulation, a well turned stifle and moved out with ease using her firm hocks and keeping a level top line.
3rd Lovel’s Maibee Roselyn at Lovetrac
