Critique

Thank you for the invitation to judge this show. I very much enjoyed my day and after many hold ups due to the current situation in the country it was a pleasure. It was quite different to judge alongside a General Championship Show but the organisation was such that it worked very well. I was honoured to have the pleasure of going over some lovely examples of our breed. I would like to say a big thank you to the committee and in particular to my two stewards John and Sue.

Veteran Dog 3
1 Maclaine’s Ch Lochbuie Cappuccino a lovely ruby lad of just over 9 years. Lovely head and eye giving a soft expression. Well made and flowed around the ring at one with handler. Well presented with a glowing coat. Best Veteran in Show.
2 Biddle’s Hearthfriend Hocus Pocus a Tri colour dog of almost 8 years. Nice size and shape.
Good construction and moved well around the ring. Good head and eye.
3 Lewis’s Leelyn Michael Buble for Carleeto JW SHCM

Minor Puppy Dog 7 (1Abs)
1 Walker’s Stavonga Sky Walker Kayceekay a young Blenheim dog of just over 6 months. Well marked body with good pigmentation. Good lay of shoulders and turn of stifle. Moved and showed well. One for the future.
2 Long’s Arroline Wonderlust a Tri colour dog of almost 9 months who had a good head and eye. Good topline which was maintained on the move. Well made and moved well.
3 Rogerson & Evans’ Heart of Y Once in a Lifetime

5 Biddle’s Hearthfriend The Unicorn

Puppy Dog 4 (1Abs)
1 Koster’s Ryanmill Rococo Harana a more solidly marked Tri colour dog who was almost a year
old. The lovliest of head with a beautiful soft expression. Lovely outline with good shoulders and turn of stifle. Well constructed and as a result moved well. Best Puppy in Show
2 Hawkins’ Lexody Shenanigans a Blenheim who was just not as mature as 1. Good shape and was
well made. Nice head and eye. Moved and showed well.
3 Griffith’s Frondil Happliy Ever Arthur

Junior Dog 4
1 Holland’s Bonniemadra Loked an Loaded. Small compact Blenheim dog of a lovely shape. Lovely
Head with good dark eyes. Well made with good shoulders and turn of stifle. Moved well. Well presented.
2 Crossley’s Tameline Roberto a well made dog who had a good shape. Well laid shoulders
and good turn of stifle. Moved well at one with his handler. Just preferred head of one
3 Gibson’s Torylac Grayson

Yearling Dog 3
1 Guvercin’s Verheyen Vincent at Glebeheath this dog grabbed my attention the moment he
Walked into the ring – such ring presence. He had a lovely outline with a super topline maintained at all times. Super head with large dark eyes and soft expression. Well constructed and moved with purpose. Beautifully groomed. Dog CC, Reserve Best in Show and Best Opposite Sex. A worthy winner.
2 Goodwin’s Cavaliegh Kennedy a Blenheim dog who was a good size. Good shoulders and turn of stifle. Moved well around the ring.
3 Rhodes’ Canonlan Grand Royale

Novice Dog 7 (1Abs)
1 See 2nd in Junior Dog Class
2 Bubb’s Wandris Castiel Blenheim dog not quite as mature as 1. Nice size and good construction. Good head and eye. Moved and showed well.

Graduate Dog 7
1 Renaud’s Toraylac Kit Carson for Ellenaud a nice sized Blenheim dog. Quite full of himself in the ring. Well made and as a result moved well once settled.
2 Mynott’s Honeybett Tri Again Good small dog who had a lovely head but would have liked more blaze. Well constructed and moved well.
3 Parson’s Peakdowns Marcopolo at |Anjomil.

1 Wileman & Bott’s Granasil Trick or Treat for Narvidar JW lovely B/T dog with super head and expression. Good shape with level topline. Good shoulders and turn of stifle. Moved well and showed well .
2 Mangham’s Brymarden Touch of Gold Charnavale a Blenheim dog with a lovely soft expression and good dark eyes. Well made and moved well as a result.

Well presented. A well made dog.

1 Sedgwick & Levy’s Pascavale Kyle small bleheim dog who was well made with good topline and tail carriage. Very nice shape. Moved well and showed well. A worthy winner.
2 Hughes’ Loranka’s Glory Days another Blenheim dog who was well constructed and moved well. Preferred head of 1.

1 Sedgwick & Levy’s Pascavale Douglas small compact Blenheim dog who had the softest of expressions with lovely dark eyes. Super shaped dog who was well made and moved well at one with his handler. RCC
2 Owsen’s Narayden Gold Velvet slightly larger framed dog but was well made and moved well. Preferred head of 1.

1 Bloomfield’s Delhaze Reach for the Sky with Oaklake a beautifully presented Blenheim dog who stood out. Good lay of shoulders and turn of stifle. Lovely large dark eyes. Moved and showed well.
2 Rix’s Ch Ricksbury Royal Heritage JW another lovely Blenheim dog who was well made and moved well. Good head and eye. Just preferred the finish of 1.
