I would like to express my thanks to the committee for their invitation to judge Cavalier bitches at this show and for the overall level of hospitality extended to me. The organisation and efficient running of the show was a credit to them and excellent stewards helped to make it a very enjoyable day for me personally.
I was blessed with a good entry of bitches many of which I am confident will enjoy more success in the future.
It was also a pleasure to have Mr Brian Claydon as my co-judge. After frank discussion on the merits of each dog/bitch we amicably agreed on BIS, Res BIS, Best Puppy in Show and Best Veteran in Show.

Overall I was impressed by the standard and quality of the exhibits with generally good construction and proportions. Temperaments overall were excellent, lovely dark eyes were evident with good heads and expressions in the majority of the exhibits. Some exhibits were however up to size and quite a few dropped off at the croup which spoiled them somewhat for me.
