I would like to thank the committee of the Northern CKCS Club for inviting me to judge their winter open show. I was met with a very warm welcome from this well run and friendly show committee. I had very enjoyable day judging and would like to thank all exhibitors for allowing me to judge some really lovely cavaliers.

Veteran (1 Entry, 0 Absent)
1st Gibb-Stuart’s Ch Chantismere Push My Button JW ShCM
A lovely veteran dog looking good in lovely condition, good coat of nice rich colour with plenty of feathering, he has a very nice typical head with a soft expression and large dark eyes and good pigment. he showed well with good front and rear angulations, and moved effortlessly around the ring.

1st Mangham’s Garlouchi Just Magic of Charnavale JW
10 year old blen dog in lovely firm condition, nice short coupled body with a well good well broken coat, lovely head with very long well feathered ears, he has a lovely well balanced outline which he showed to his advantage, he moved well keeping a good topline and tail carriage.
2nd Walker’s Korolevsky Iosif ShCM
12 year old blen of lovely make and shape, he has a nice head with a gentle expression, presented in lovely coat and condition showed well for his handler and moved freely holding a good topline.

Minor Puppy (1, 0)
1st Mangham’s Brymarden Touch Of Gold of Charnavale
Stood alone in this class a lovely 7 month old puppy, nice head with dark eyes and good earset which he used to his advantage. Well balanced outline with good substance, nice quality well broken coat, he showed really well for his handler standing four square, he moved really well with plenty of drive. BPD.

1st Gibb-Stuart’s Tangledwood Furminator
10 month old blen puppy with a very outgoing and happy disposition, nice head and expression, good neck and shoulder placement with a level topline and good tailset. Heavy well broken coat a good texture. He is a nice size and showing a well balanced outline, moved well when settled.
2nd Lee’s Kelrick Flashback
Another nice puppy with a lovely rich well broken coat, he has a nice head with good clean face markings. Showed well showing standing four square, he moved well keeping a level back with good tail set.

1st Bayliss’ Castlewytch Moon River
A very nice 14 month old blen dog, with a gorgeous head attractive face markings with lovely large dark expressive eyes, he is ideal for size and is nicely put together and good in profile, he has a good coat which was a lovely rich colour and good texture. he moved very straight keeping a solid topline and a well carried tail. 2nd Renaud’s Ellenaud Oliver Twist
Another nice blen dog with an attractive head with good neck and shoulder placement, firm level back and a well set tail, a nice type dog with a good well broken coat in lovely condition he moved and showed well.

A lovely rich coloured ruby dog 12 months old maturing nicely well bodied with a good firm topline and good tailset. Attractive head with lovely large dark eyes, stood four square and showing well.

1st Renaud’s Toraylac Kit Carson for Ellenaud
Well coated blen dog with a nice head and kind expression, nice compact body with good front and rear angles, firm level back with a well carried tail moving and showing well today.
2nd Lee’s Kelrick The Irish Rover
A nice blen dog coming on nicely with an attractive head with nice clean face markings and large dark eyes, good reach of neck and shoulders slightly longer cast body with a good covering of richly coloured coat, showed well with a good outline.
3rd Fox’s Lynmily Mister Blue Sky

Beautiful richly marked blen dog with very nice head and a melting expression lovely large dark eyes and good ear placement, nice neck and shoulder leading to a level topline and well carried tail. Presented in excellent condition a nice size and compact shape. Good front and rear angulations with nice short hocks. Moved well just unsettled in the challenge.

Really nice lovely richly coloured ruby dog in good coat with attractive featherings, appealing head with flatish scull and large dark kind eyes. showing well and attentive to his handler showing off his lovely outline, moved freely with plenty of drive.

1st Kynaston’s Granasil Von Trap JW ShCM
A profusely coated B/T dog gleaming black coat in super condition, lovely masculine head with a kind expression with a good ear set which he used well, good reach of neck and level topline giving him a lovely profile. good firm body with substance, showed well attentive to handler and moved freely with purpose. RBD.

1st Callaghan & Todd’s Tillashby Northern Star at Callyspride JW ShCM
A really glamorous blen bitch 8 years old but looks half her age, in full excellently presented with well broken silky coat. She has a lovely feminine head with beautiful dark eyes and lovely long full ears. she looked so well balanced and is a nice size, showing non stop and moving freely she was my Best Veteran.

A lovely 10 year old blen with a pretty head and a gentle expression, shown in lovely condition with a nice coat and featherings, she is a nice compact size and shape, showing well for her handler and moved nicely.
2nd Hurst & Wake’s Llustant Conqueress
Another lovely 12 year old blen, very sweet head and expression with nice dark eyes, a nice type and size with nicely broken coat, she looks really well for her age and she showed and moved really well.

1st Claydon’s Brymarden Touch & Go
A delightful little puppy bitch who took my eye as soon as she entered the ring, at 7 months old she showed herself to her advantage, pretty head with a sweet expression, good reach of neck and shoulder placement leading to a spirit level topline and well set tail. She is a lovely size and type and so well balanced. she moved well with confidence and should have a very bright future. BPB & BPIS
2nd Saxton’s Charnavale Lucy Locket of Marlrose
Another pretty blen puppy, feminine head with lovely dark eyes and good earset, nice outline with a well broken richly marked coat in good condition. She is a nice shape and has good front and rear angulations. She showed and moved well.

A pretty 10 month old tri puppy, lovely well broken coat with good tan markings presented in excellent condition with good featherings, she is nicely put together and a just right for size. She has a pretty head with attractive face markings, she has an attractive outline and showed well for her handler.
2nd Nolan’s Jernito A New Way Of Life
A pretty blen puppy in lovely coat with rich chestnut markings, nice head with a gentle expression good reach of neck and well placed shoulders leading to a good topline, nice size with a short coupled well covered body, she moved and showed well.

1st Potter’s Toyswood Sophie
A nice 14 month old tri bitch with a pretty head and large dark eyes and good pigment, slightly arched neck and good shoulder and front angles, short compact body with a good topline and tailset, nice coat which was a nice silky texture and good tan markings, showed well and moved with purpose covering the ground well.
2nd Comer’s Kelrick Black Velvet Band at Delaby
Another nice tri bitch very similar to the winner of this class just slightly longer cast, in good coat and condition showed well for her handler and moved well.

1st Inglis’ Craigowl Copacabana
Smart looking 15 month old blen bitch, with ultra feminine head and lovely large lustrous dark eyes and good pigment, adequate neck and good firm shoulders and level topline with a well set tail. Carrying a wealth of richly marked well broken coat which was in lovely condition, she showed non stop showing off her lovely outline standing four square, she is a lovely size and type with good angles front and rear. She flowed around the ring with plenty of drive.
2nd Mangham’s Charnavale Perfect Angel
A very nice blen bitch, which has a lovely head with nice large dark eyes giving her a kind expression she has a flatish scull and good ear placement. A slightly arched neck leading to well laid shoulders and a good topline. and tail set. She is a nice size with plenty of well broken coat, she showed well and moved freely.

A nice blen bitch with a pretty head with lovely dark eyes and good pigment. She has a good well broken coat with plenty of rich chestnut markings which was in lovely condition, she has a nice short coupled body with a lovely outline showing and moving well.
2nd Linton’s Thekop’s Cinderella
A pretty b/t bitch with good coat and colour she has a nice head with large dark eyes, she move and showed well keeping a level topline.
3rd Bailey’s Aldoricka Liana

4 year old blen bitch with a nice well broken coat in lovely condition, she has a lovely head with a gentle expression and nice dark eyes, she is a nice size with good bone and substance. Showing well with a lovely outline and moved well.

A lovely ruby bitch with a good coat and nice colour, she has a lovely outline with good front and rear angulations, she has a pretty head with lovely large dark eyes and good pigment, she showed and moved well holding a level topline and good tailset.

A pretty 18 month old ruby bitch in good coat and lovely rich colour, she has an attractive head with a flat scull and large dark eyes, she is ideal for size and has a nice compact shape. She was attentive to her handler showing and moving well.
2nd Bailey’s Toyswood Fenella’s Legacy for Aldoricka
Another pretty ruby bitch with a nice head and dark eyes, she was well off for good quality coat of good colour, a nice type with a good confirmation a good topline and tailset, which she kept while standing and on the move.

A beautiful quality blen bitch presented in excellent condition, she has a lovely head with large dark eyes giving her a soft expression, she has a good reach of neck and a nice firm topline and good tail set. She is a lovely type and a good size with moderate bone throughout, she has a nice happy temperament and showed non stop, with a lovely well broken coat of good colour with plenty of furnishings to complete the picture. She moved freely with plenty of drive. BB & BIS. Well done.

A very appealing blen bitch with a profuse well broken coat in excellent condition, she has a pretty head with nice large dark eyes giving her a soft kind expression. A nice size a and shape with a good front and rear she has a good level topline and tailset, showed and moved well.

A very nice quality blen bitch with a beautiful head piece with a good earset which she used well to her advantage, lovely large dark appealing eyes giving her kind expression, she has a nicely arched neck and good shoulder placement leading to a firm topline and well covered body, shown in lovely coat in gleaming condition and well broken. She has a good front and rear and looks good in profile, she showed really well and was attentive to her handler. She moved gracefully around the ring with good parallel movement. RBB

A very nice b/t bitch with a lovely shape and confirmation, a gentle expression and nice dark eyes, shown in lovely coat which was raven black with good tan markings and plenty of furnishings. showing well with good movement.
