SPECIAL AWARD CLASSES

Many thanks to the Committee for the invitation to Judge the Special Award Classes at the Northern Cavalier Club 50th Anniversary Show and for the hospitality. Many thanks to the Exhibitors for the super entry. I really enjoyed the appointment with close decisions in all three classes.

SAC PUPPY (8.3 ABS)

1. Renaud’s Ellenaud Oliver Twist. Mature 10 month Blenheim dog with excellent ring presence. Quality head, dark eyes, good nose pigment. Well built with good bone and substance, excellent body shape, very well coated which was shown in excellent condition. Stood out in this class for his overall soundness on the move.
2.Potter’s Toyswood Sophie. A pretty headed 11 month old Tri with soft expression. Not as mature as 1 in body but a lovely shape and size, more settled than the others in this class on the move which gave her the edge.
3.Water’s & Bryson’s Sweetbriar Soprano.

SAC GRADUATE (13.4 ABS) A lovely class headed by two smart bitches.

1.Colavecchia’s Carolus Miss Liberty. A lovely Blenheim bitch, ideal size, excellent type and full of quality, appealing head, very good neck, shoulders, topline and tail carriage. Moved out with great style and freedom and shown in super coat and condition.
2.Claydon’s Brymarden Blush. Another very nice Blenheim. Loved her type, pleasing head, large dark eyes giving gentle expression, ex bone and well developed body. Shown in super condition. Loved her shape standing close up to 1 but just not so settled on the move.
3.Spark’s Ricksbury Royal Louis.

SAC OPEN (7.2 ABS)

1.Crane’s Cranvarl Washington. Well broken, richly marked Blenheim of excellent quality, very well balanced. His masculine head is carried on a nicely arched neck, level topline, soundly made body with ex ribcage, well developed hindquarters which he uses on the move. Shown in full coat which was beautifully presented.
2.Kynaston’s Granasil Golden Nugget. A Ruby I have judged before and still admire. Lovely shape standing which he holds on the move. Shown in super coat and condition, masculine headed dog with lovely eyes, and expression. Very attentive to handler at all times and moved freely and true around the ring.
3.Colavecchia’s Carolus Miss Elsie.
