NCKCSS Judging Criteria 2022
“A1” JUDGING LIST - BREED SPECIALISTS - 2022
For persons who have previously been approved by The Kennel Club to award Challenge Certificates in the breed and have completed their first appointment. To have the support of the Northern Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Society.
“A1” JUDGING LIST - NON-BREED SPECIALIST - 2022
For persons who have previously been approved by The Kennel Club to award Challenge Certificates in the breed and have completed their first appointment. To have the support of the Northern Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Society.
“A2” JUDGING LIST - BREED SPECIALISTS – 2022
For persons who fulfil all the requirements for the “A3” list and who have been assessed in accordance with Kennel Club guidelines and accepted by the Kennel Club for inclusion on an “A2” List. And have the support of the Northern Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Society.
“A2” JUDGING LIST – NON-BREED SPECIALISTS – 2022
For persons who fulfil all the requirements for the “A3” list and who have been assessed in accordance with Kennel Club guidelines and accepted by the Kennel Club for inclusion on an “A2” List. And have the support of the Northern Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Society.
“A3” JUDGING LIST - BREED SPECIALISTS - 2022
1. Minimum
of 7 years judging experience in the breed and have the support of the Society
2. To have judged both sexes at a United Kingdom Breed Club Show.
3. To have judged the breed at 20 shows or 50 classes with an adequate geographical
spread.
4. To have judged a minimum of 180 dogs.
5. To have bred and/or owned a minimum of 3 dogs in the breed when they obtained
their first entry in the Kennel Club Stud Book (save in exceptional circumstances).
6. To have stewarded at 12 shows.
7. To have attended a seminar given by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer, and
passed the relevant examination on Kennel Club Regulations and Judging Procedures.
8. To have attended a seminar given by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer on
Conformation and Movement.
9. To have attended a Confirmation and Movement “Hands-on Assessment”
conducted by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer and passed the assessment.
10. To have attended at least one specific seminar run in accordance with
the Kennel Club Code of Best Practice and passed an examination and Hands
on assessment where applicable.
“A3” JUDGING LIST - NON-BREED SPECIALIST - 2022
1. Minimum
of 7 years judging experience in any one breed and to have the support of
the Society.
2. To have judged both sexes at a United Kingdom Breed Club Show.
3. To have judged the breed at 20 Open Shows or Championship Shows without
Challenge Certificates with an adequate geographical spread.
4. To have judged a minimum of 50 classes in this breed.
5 To have judged 180 dogs in this breed.
6. To have awarded Championship Certificates in at least one other breed.
7. To have stewarded at 12 shows.
8. To have bred and/or owned a minimum of 3 dogs of any breed when they obtained
their first entry in the Kennel Club Stud Book (save in exceptional circumstances).
9. To have attended a seminar given by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer, and
passed the relevant examination on Kennel Club Regulations and Judging Procedures.
10. To have attended a seminar given by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer on
Conformation and Movement.
11. To have attended a Confirmation and Movement “Hands-on Assessment”
conducted by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer and passed the assessment.
12. To have attended at least one specific seminar run in accordance with
the Kennel Club Code of Best Practice and passed an examination and Hands
on assessment where applicable.
”B” JUDGING LIST - BREED SPECIALISTS - 2022
Judges who the Society would consider to judge at Open and Limited Shows: To have judged the breed for over 5 years with 25 classes with 90 dogs and to have attended & passed a Breed Specific Seminar (MCE and Hands on Assessment). To have stewarded 6 times.
“B” JUDGING LIST - NON-BREED SPECIALIST - 2022
Judges who the Society would consider to judge at Open and Limited Shows: To have judged the breed for over 5 years with 25 classes with 90 dogs and to have attended & passed a Breed Specific Seminar (MCE and Hands on Assessment). To have stewarded 6 times.
“C” JUDGES LIST - BREED SPECIALISTS - 2022
Those persons who the Society feel worthy of encouragement and who have exhibited the breed over a period of 5 years and to have attended a Breed Specific Seminar.

Those persons
