Special Award Classes

I would like to thank the Northern Cavalier Committee for inviting me to judge their special award classes and also to my Steward Malcolm Sparks . I had a lovely entry of Cavaliers and appreciate the exhibitors for their entry.

Puppy (10, 3abs)
(1) Hindle’s Spindlepoint Donovan with Ellisiana
11 month Blenheim dog. Flat skull with correct ear set and nice furnishings. Nice dark round eye, soft expression, correct bite, correct tail set. Good reach of neck, Good angulation, Moved well coming and going and keeping a level topline. Shown in lovely condition won the class on his maturity.

(2) Enchanting Companion Qichendro
10th month Blenheim dog slightly smaller than first. Flat skull with correct ear set. Nice dark round eye, soft expression, correct bite, correct tail set. When settled moved nicely with drive. Coat needs a little attention.

Graduate (14, 3abs)

(1) Spall’s Llapsttams Killer Queen
An eye catching 17 month Black and Tan bitch. Lovely size and shape. Flat skull, lovely dark round eyes and a melting expression, correct bite. Straight Raven black coat with bright tan in the correct places. Good reach of neck well laid shoulders, moved very well keeping a level topline, correct tailset. A very showy girl who oozes quality and draws attention to herself as soon as she enters the ring.

(2) Kilcoyne’s Pamedna Charisma Granasil
14 month Blenheim bitch. Lovely size and shape, lovely dark round eye, good pigment, correct bite. Coat straight with lovely rich colouring. Moved well keeping a level topline and correct tail set. Unlucky to meet the winner.

(3) Potter’s Toyswood Moonage Daydream

Open (8, 2abs) A very nice class

(1) Whitfield’s Aristor Pink Topaz for Bevelmount
2 Year old Ruby bitch with large dark eyes giving the sweetest of expressions. Good reach of neck leading to Cobby body, good spring of rib, correct tail set. Good coat of silky texture and length, correct bite, moved with ease keeping a level topline.

(2) Mangham’s Castlewytch Perfection of Charnavale (JW)
3 year Old Tri dog with masculine head , large dark round eyes. Nicely broken coat with correct markings and good furnishings, correct bite, good angulation slightly distracted today and didn’t move quite as well as no 1.

(3) Waddington’s Spindlepoint President (JW)
